Importance of Ayurvedic science
Ayurveda is the ultimate science which teaches us how to remain healthy . The etymology of ayurveda is ayu + veda , ayu means the life and veda means knowledge/science so we can say that ayurveda is the science or the knowledge of life.
Basically there are two aims of ayurveda , priority being to prevent the disease and to maintain a healthier and happier living and the second one is to cure the disease. Ayurveda always emphasizes on how to remain healthy both physically and mentally. And for that the science provide us with ways to boost our immune system .
The speciality of ayurvedic medicine is that is has negligible or no side effects and has a long term benefit. It always focus on how to prevent reoccurring of symptoms of any disease and how to cure it from it's roots.
Ayurveda has provide us with yoga and meditation which helps to keep us healthy , there are various other home products also which makes our immunity stronger .
Even the great maharishi Sushutra who's considered to be the father of surgery and maharishi Charak -the father of Medicine both were ayurvedic practitioners and have guided different medical fraternities based on which current medical practitioners are getting knowledge .
There are numerous diseases which are getting cured in ayurvedic hospitals which vastly include problems related with digestive system. People when get no good results after allopathic treatment ,visit ayurvedic hospitals with a hope of improvement in their condition.
The speciality of ayurveda is that it is the only science which includes purification of body and soul known as panchkarma treatment and various panchkarma centres have been established all over India and in some countries too.
Ayurveda is a holy science and it has contributed fabulously in the corona time all over the world by providing ways to boost our immunity so that we could fight with the pathogens entering in our body.
Ayurvedic science has an indian origin and is in process for about more than thousands of years but somewhere it's importance is lost nowadays which I strongly believe will flourish again in the young minds of today's generation. There is still so much to know and so much to learn about Ayurveda and what we know is only a drop in the ocean of knowledge. We should try to create awareness about ayurveda and it's benefits for our mental , physical and social well-being.
